The outside lever can be locked by two methods. The key can be used or the inside push button can lock the outside lever.
Key: The key can lock or unlock the outside lever.
Push Button: The push button has two modes. When the button is pushed, the outside lever locks. Throwing the inside lever makes the button pop out, unlocking the outside lever. The other mode requires the button to be pushed and turned. This locks the outside lever as well. However, when exiting by throwing the inside lever DOES NOT unlock the outside lever. When the push button is turned, the outside lever remains locked at all times. It remains locked until the push button is turned again, releasing the push button.
This is the most popular of the locking functions and can be seen on Office or Entry doors.
Lock cylinders can be ordered with the lock or can be furnished by you.
You can also select the cylinder type you prefer, standard cylinder or IC Core cylinder.

If you order a cylinder on this page you will be furnished Corbin Russwin's standard L4 keyway with the cylinder.
It will come keyed up with 2 keys cut to match the cylinder.
If you require another keyway other than L4 this can be done as well.

IC Core Cylinder = Part No. 8000
Corbin Russwin's CL3500 Series meets Grade 1 requirements. The CL3300 Series is also available that far surpasses Grade 1 requirements.
These locks are designed for use on medium to high traffic doors.
The lock is furnished with all hardware required for a new installation.
