The DC4600 series is designed along the lines of the Norton 1601 closers for aluminum storefront doors. It's narrow footprint allows for easy installation in tight spaces.
Aluminum doors and frames typcially have only 2'' of metal available to mount a closer. Check the bolt hole spacing on this (or any other model) before replacing and existing closer.
